HC Deb 15 November 1984 vol 67 c354W
41. Mr. Yeo

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the expected yield from national insurance contributions in the current year.

Mr. Newton

The income to the national insurance fund for the year 1984–85 from contributions is estimated by the Government Actuary in his report on the Social Security (Contributions) Re-Rating Order 1984 (Cmnd. 9386) as £19,021 million, after recovery by employers of statutory sick pay.
