§ Mr. Nicholsonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the average percentage trend in wholesale milk deliveries between 1981 and 1983 in the United Kingdom; and what was the percentage trend in wholesale deliveries between 1981 and 1983 in each of the nine regions of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. MacGregorBetween 1981 and 1983, wholesale milk deliveries in the United Kingdom increased by 9.14 per cent. For the same period the increase in England and Wales was 7.9 per cent. In Scotland, the increase was 11.63 per cent. In Northern Ireland the increase was 19.53 per cent. Detailed figures are not immediately available for the other regions and I hope to provide them shortly.
