HC Deb 09 November 1984 vol 67 c43W
Mr. McCrindle

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has for increasing the United Kingdom's diplomatic representation in Central and South America; whether he has any proposals to withdraw or reduce the United Kingdom's representation in these areas; and if he will make a statement.

Sir Geoffrey Howe

The level of diplomatic representation in Central and South America, as elsewhere in the world, is kept under constant review in the light of the requirements and the resources available.
