§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will introduce legislation to permit employers to suspend the operation of the check-off system for the collection of union dues during industrial disputes affecting them; and if he will make a statement;
(2) what information he has as to the average amount collected monthly by employers on behalf of unions in respect of union dues collected under the check-off system; and if he will make a statement.
