§ Sir Bernard Braineasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what progress has been made with regard to the provision of renal services, including central funding, following his discussion with the chairmen of regional health authorities in January 1984.
§ Mr. John PattenWe have asked regional health authorities to submit proposed targets by the end of May for developing the services in their regions. To assist in this task we have allocated £1 million from central funds in 1984–85 to be used for initiatives in this field.
