§ Mr. GummerMost of the equal opportunities officers are principals with personnel responsibilities. They were designated at the beginning of April at regional and head office level on lines agreed by senior personnel managers across the Department of Employment group. Their main responsibilities will be dealing with requests for information, advising managers on policies to further equality of opportunity and monitoring the results.
