§ Mr. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the reply of 26 April, Official Report, column 602, by whom his 26W Department's policies and procedures were reviewed before the Commission for Racial Equality's code of practice became operative; and when and to whom additional guidance and instructions were issued.
§ Mr. WhitneyThe Foreign and Commonwealth Office's policies and procedures were reviewed by departmental management in 1982 as part of the central review of race relations policy in the Civil Service. Further guidance was given to staff and management directly involved in these matters in March 1984.
