The available information is published annually in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales, Supplementary Tables" (Vol. 1, Tables S1.1(A)-(E)). These tables include figures for court sentences for drunkenness and drink-driving offences and show, in particular, the numbers of people made subject of hospital and guardianship orders.
