asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry by what percentage the volume of European Economic Community exports of manufactures to the United Kingdom and United Kingdom exports of manufactures to the European Economic Community increased, respectively, between 1972 and 1983.

This information is not available but it is estimated that United Kingdom imports from the EC roughly trebled in volume terms in this period and exports increased by about two thirds.
