§ Mr. FletcherThe Director General of Fair Trading is keeping a close watch on developments in the newspaper distribution industry since the publication of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission report. I understand that he does not consider that the situation has changed sufficiently to justify a further investigation at present. But he has powers to take action if he considers it to be justified.
