What response they intend to make to President Reagan's invitation to participate in the 331WA development of the United States Space Station, and whether they consider this to be a civil or a military programme.
§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Young)We are discussing the invitation with other member states of the European Space Agency, in order to formulate a co-ordinated response. The space station is part of the civil space programme of the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) by whom budgetary provision is being made.
