asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, in the event of the implementation of Cmnd. 9063 and the establishment of joint precept levying boards for police in metropolitan county areas, those boards would have imposed upon them a statutory duty to open their meetings to the public.

The obligations would be the same as those on other police authorities, under Section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972.
