asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he intends to introduce legislation on insolvency based on the White Paper.

Subject to other pressures on the parliamentary timetable, the Government's intention is to introduce legislation to give effect to the White Paper proposals in the next Session of Parliament.
