HC Deb 26 March 1984 vol 57 c81W
Mr. Tom Cox

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action has been taken to ensure that the United Kingdom complies with recommendation 924 of the Council of Europe on discrimination against homosexuals.

Mr. Whitney

The law relating to the minimum age of consent for homosexual and heterosexual acts has been examined by the Criminal Law Revision Committee on Sexual Offences. We will study carefully the committee's recommendations. In all other respects the United Kingdom already conforms with recommendation 924.
