§ Mr. MacGregorProduction of Community sugar beet is not subject to quota restrictions. However, the amount of sugar manufactured from beet in excess of the quota must either be exported from the Community without export restitutions or held in store until the following marketing year to be counted against that year's quota production.
§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what information he has as to the effect the export of sugar by the European Economic Community in 1983 had on the world price of sugar and on the incomes, in terms of both volume and price, of the cane-sugar producing countries.
