§ Mr. Nicholas Brownasked the Attorney-General if the Lord Chancellor will now require the advisory committee on the appointments of magistrates for the city of Newcastle upon Tyne to give its reasons for refusing to disclose its membership following the committee's refusal to provide any reason for its refusal in a letter dated 27 February to the hon. Member for Newcasle upon Tyne, East, a copy of which has been placed in the Library.
