HC Deb 13 March 1984 vol 56 c93W
Mr. Hanley

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will encourage consistency of application of cycling facilities in London's parks.

Mr. Macfarlane

My Department has responsibilities for the royal parks in London. There are cycle tracks in Hyde park, Kensington gardens and Richmond park. Cycles may also use the roads in and around St. James's park, Hyde park, Regent's park, Richmond park and Greenwich park. Other parks in London are the responsibility of the local authorities.
