§ Mrs. FennerWe discontinued grants for filling in ponds under the agriculture and horticulture grant scheme—the nationally funded scheme—on 1 December, except in less-favoured areas. They are still available under the agriculture and horticulture development scheme, whose parent European Community directives are currently being renegotiated, but the amount of grant paid on such works, although not separately identified, is thought to be small.
