§ Mr. HurdWe have not issued any such guidance. The code of practice for the protection of personal data on the police national computer—section 4—and the Home Office consolidated circular to the police on crime and kindred matters—appendix 48B—do, however, contain guidance on the use of data obtained from the police national computer.
