What was the per capita expenditure on defence in 1983 of each member state of NATO and of Sweden and Spain.

Figures for theper capita defence expenditure of NATO member states are given in the following table. They are compiled from official returns by individual countries to NATO. Comparable information is not available for Sweden; relevant information is, however, contained in The Military Balance 1983–84, published by the International Institute of Strategic Studies.
