§ Mr. Peter MorrisonAt the end of January, there were 2,530 young people on community projects and 947 on training workshop schemes on Merseyside, and 1,266 young people on community projects and 300 on training workshop schemes in Liverpool. In 1984–85 the Manpower Services Commission is planning to provide about 3,000 places on community projects and 1,400 places in training workshops on Merseyside, of which about 1,500 and 400 respectively will be in Liverpool.
