§ Mr. Masonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why he will not call for reports from the Yorkshire water authority about poaching activities on the River Esk, the reasons for the low salmon count in 1983 and on its statutory duties to maintain, improve and develop the salmon fisheries in its area as required under the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975; and if he will make a statement.
