asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many two and three-bedroom dwellings suitable for family occupation have been built by (a) Welsh local authorities and (b) Welsh housing associations in 1981, 1982 and 1983, respectively.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

Local authorities built 2,449 two and three-bedroomed family dwellings in 1981, 1,251 in 1982 and 978 in 1983. In the same years housing associations built 385, 414 and 274 dwellings respectively of a similar type.
