§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Prime Minister what is the percentage increase or decrease in the expenditure in real terms of each of the 17 individual programmes contained in part 2 of the public expenditure White Paper, Cmnd. 8175, for the years 1981–82 and 1982–83.
§ The Prime MinisterA cost terms analysis of main programmes as presently constituted is shown in table 1.14 of Cmnd. 9143 for the years in question. Since Cmnd. 8175 there have been classification changes to the planning total and individual programmes; figures on Cmnd. 8175 definitions could not be constructed without disproportionate cost.
