§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the estimated Civil Service time required and what information he has as to local government officer time required during the current financial year, in order to carry out consultations between his Department and the metropolitan districts upon transport capital projects contained in the firm lists of proposed new starts 1984–85, drawn up by the metropolitan county councils in accordance with the new procedures set out in the transport supplementary grant settlement 1984–85 circulars sent to those councils.
