§ Mr. FletcherI hope shortly to present to the House detailed proposals for strengthening the investigative powers of trading standards officers at the point of first supply, for stronger powers to suspend the supply of unsafe goods and for an extension of the range of goods in respect of which enforcement action may be taken.
