asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation missile deployment.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement about the disposition of cruise missies in Europe.

Mr. Stanley

The initial deployment of cruise missiles in the United Kingdom and in Italy, and of Pershing II missiles in the Federal Republic of Germany, has been completed successfully. Deployments will continue, but could at any time be halted, modified or reversed if there were a negotiated agreement in Geneva which provided for this.
