§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what recommendations are made in the report by Arthur Andersen and Co. as to the best and most economic way of supplying oxygen concentrators to home respiratory patients; and if he will make a statement;
(2) when a decision can be expected from his Department regarding the funding and distribution of domiciliary oxygen, both through oxygen concentrators and cylinders; and if he will take into account the opinions and concerns of hospital consultants and patients;
(3) when he received the report by Arthur Andersen & Company on the ways of providing domiciliary oxygen through concentrators; and if he will place a copy in the Library;
(4) if he will make provision, when he comes to conclusions on the arrangements for the future supply of domiciliary oxygen, for ending the monopoly of the British Oxygen Company.
