§ 25. Mr. Ashbyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what arrangements his Department has to inform the Department of Health and Social Security of fugitives from justice who are living abroad and in receipt of pensions and who have warrants for their arrest outstanding.
§ Mr. HurdThere are no such arrangements. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Services has no power to withhold payment of a retirement pension, unless the person concerned is disqualified from receiving it.
