§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe provision of gipsy sites in London is primarily the responsibility of the London102W borough councils. So far 24 sites with a total of 415 pitches have been provided in Greater London. My Department is in discussion with the London Boroughs Association about measures to improve the supply of accommodation. My Department also contributes to site provision through a 100 per cent. Exchequer capital grant scheme.
