§ Mr. HurdThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis tells me that 1,350 police officers were deployed during the march and lobby; that the estimated additional cost of the deployment was approximately £16,400; that some 7,500 people are estimated to have taken part in the events; and that there were 113 arrests.
