§ Mr. WaldegraveI met the president of the Council for National Parks on 14 March when we discussed a wide range of subjects affecting national parks. I also receive representations from hon. Members of the House, from the Countryside Commission and from other quarters from time to time on specific issues. Recently attention has tended to focus on the report on the economic efficiency of national park authorities upon which the Association of County Councils has commented. I expect to meet the association to discuss its views next week.
