§ Ms. Harmanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list (a) each project that has received funding under the under-fives initiative, (b) where the project is and (c) how much each project has received and over how many years the grant will operate.
§ Mr. John PattenThe table following lists by location the principal projects being funded so far through the under-fives initiative, together with the grants allocated to each. Most of the service providing projects are planned to run to 31 March 1986. The initiative has however been extended into 1986–87 and the Department will shortly be discussing the implications of this for each project with the participating voluntary agencies.
In addition to the projects listed, some of the participating agencies are administering funds in connection with support for local groups and other schemes of national application such as under-fives development officers and publications.
