1. For 1982–83 and 1983–84, cash limits have been adjusted to reflect in-year adjustments including for example, transfers between revenue and capital. 1983–84 figures are provisional.
2. 1984–85 figures are the initial cash limits notified in January 1984. They will be adjusted upwards soon following the recent announcement on pay for certain staff covered by Review Body recommendations.
