Mr. Heddle

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received in respect of the rights of temporary markets and the like to operate up to 14, but not necessarily consecutive, days without planning permission under the General Development Order 1977; and whether he expects to seek to amend the law in respect of this provision.
