§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe other methods employers use to recruit labour include informal contacts, press advertisements and private employment agencies. The commission is currently engaged in a study of the criteria to be taken into account in determining the public employment service's role in various vacancy markets. However, the paper on the development of the employment service, recently considered by the commission, envisages that jobcentres will continue to help much the same number of people to find jobs as at present.
