HC Deb 04 June 1984 vol 61 c69W
Mr. Proctor

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will set out in the Official Report the number of students in each county in England and Wales who are currently enrolled on courses with the Open University;

(2) how many students in Scotland are currently enrolled on courses with the Open University.

Mr. Brooke

London 9,686
South 7,555
South-West 5,372

Midlands 6,209
East Midlands 4,778
East Anglia 7,725
Yorkshire 5,149
North-West 7,868
North 3,638
Wales 3,003
Scotland 7,043
South-East 6,188
