asked the Secretary of State for he Environment if he will estimate the amount of green belt land designated in the Greater London area in the latest year for which figures are readily available.

Mr. Freeson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he met councillor Mrs. Neil from Brent in connection with the application by Brent Parents' Association for Educational Advance for funding under the urban aid programme.

Sir George Young

I met Mrs. Neil in her capacity as a Brent councillor to discuss in general terms the urban programme and its effect on Brent. I have also discussed the urban programme for Brent with other councillors.
