HC Deb 23 July 1984 vol 64 cc508-9W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what consultations Her Majesty's Government have had on the nature of the arms contemplated being sold by the United States Administration to Argentina.

Mr. Whitney

As I told the House on 9 December at column 604, we remain in contact with the United States Administration on the subject of United States arms supplies to Argentina.

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will discuss with the Governments of Italy and West Germany their provision of rocket exports to the Argentine.

Mr. Whitney

We continue to ensure that our allies remain fully aware of our concern about the supply of arms to Argentina.
