§ Mr. GowGross capital expenditure on housing by local authorities in England in 1983–84 is estimated to be some £3040 million. Housing capital receipts generated in the year are provisionally estimated at £1790 million. I am today placing in the Library details of housing capital expenditure, and the prescribed proportion of housing capital receipts generated, by each local authority in that year.
