§ Mr. Wardasked the Secretary of State for Transport what are the reasons for the delay in the completion of the extension to the M27 north of Southampton; and when he now expects this section to be open to traffic.
§ Mrs. ChalkerAs I announced on 11 July, the final Chilworth to Stoneham section of the M27 will be opened to traffic on 24 July. This will be some five weeks ahead of the contract completion date.
