§ Mr. HurdNo. It is the responsibility of the broadcasting authorities to ensure programme standards, including standards of taste and decency, and to consider times of showing in relation to the likely audience. Various means are open to them of giving guidance on programmes to potential viewers, and it would be for them to consider whether these should be supplemented by a system of advisory classification.
