§ Mr. Chopeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how long it will be before a draft order to update and replace the Conveyance of Live Poultry Order 1919 is brought before Parliament.
§ Mrs. FennerWe shall make the new order when we have completed our detailed consideration, in the light of the consultations which we have undertaken, of how the order can most effectively update the protection given to poultry in transit. In the meantime, of course, poultry in transit will continue to have the protection against injury or unnecessary suffering which is given by existing legislation.
