Mr. Peter Bruinvels

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many cases were heard by the Immigration Appeals Tribunal, by region, in each of the past five years.

While the Immigration Appeals Tribunal may sit at such times and at such place or places as directed by the Lord Chancellor, it has, to date, sat only in London.

Information as to the number of appeals disposed of by the tribunal during the last five years has been obtained from the appellate authorities and is as follows:
