§ Dr. BoysonYes. As I have explained to the House in reply to a Question from the hon. Member for Colne Valley (Mr. Wainwright) today, the Government are unable to accept this recommendation.

§ Dr. BoysonWe have no current plans to increase the supplementary benefit earnings disregards. We nevertheless continue to keep the level of all disregards under review in the light of available resources and other priorities.
