§ Dr. Owenasked the Prime Minister how long members of the intelligence service have been denied the right to belong to a trade union; and under what statute, order, regulation or administrative Act this requirement has been imposed.
§ The Prime MinisterIt has never been the practice for members of the other security and intelligence services to belong to trade unions. Certificates have been signed under successive Governments to except these services from the provisions of the Employment Protection Acts.
