§ 31. Mr. Terlezkiasked the Secretary of State for Energy how many coal miners were employed in each of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries in the last available year.
§ Mr. Giles ShawThe table shows estimates of numbers employed in coal mining, including surface workers, in the main OECD coal-producing countries. The data have been taken from a number of different sources. They are therefore unlikely to be strictly comparable and should be taken only as broadly indicative of the position.
