Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer of Friday 20 January, when he expects to receive the report of the board of inquiry into the deaths of Captain John Belt and Sergeant Roger Jones who crashed in a Lynx helicopter off the coast by Byron Heights, West Falkland; and if he will make a statement.

The board of inquiry will complete its work as soon as possible; I am unable at this stage to give any estimate of how long that will take.
