§ Mr. StanleyIt is usual for a task group commander to return temporarily to the United Kingdom at around the mid-point of a deployment such as the present one; the docking of HMS Invincible in Singapore for repairs provided a suitable opportunity for Rear Admiral Black to do so. As well as commanding this task group, Admiral Black is Flag Officer First Flotilla and as such has a number of other duties in the United Kingdom.
