§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsUntil 1981–82 rate support grants were dealt with on an England and Wales basis and separate figures for Wales for these years could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. Since 1981–82 the rate support grant for Wales has been progressively increased as shown in the table.
